About the venue

The dates: 4th - 6th September, 1998
The place: New Hall, Cambridge

new hall New Hall is located close to the centre of Cambridge and has recently extended the accomodation and conference facilities. All of the rooms are of a decent size, and those with en suite facilities in the new block are positively luxurious.

The conference facilities, including dining hall and bar, and the older rooms are under one roof, and the newer rooms are in an adjacent building. Accessibility is reasonably good with all the main workshop areas being on the ground floor, and a few purpose-built rooms available in the new accomodation block. There is a large ginger cat called Sam.
